Miami Sugar Smoothing Treatment is a fully patented product , developed at University of Cornell. The science behind this product is using sugar aldehydes to smooth the hair, instead of formaldehyde which is extremely harmful to the stylist as well as the client.

Miami Sugar Smoothing Treatment does not require the use any of the following equipment during the application: protective eyewear , masks, gloves, or a fan. Miami Sugar Smoothing Treatment does not have a strong odor, the smell is sweet like sugar.

Description

Miami Sugar Smoothing Treatment Steps:

  • Product usage - 1.5oz - 2 oz of treatment depending on hairs length and density
  • Cleanse hair with a Clarifying Shampoo 1-2 times to eliminate grease, product residue and all impurities from the hair.
  • Towel and blow dry hair slightly , hair needs to be about 90% dry .
  • Divide the hair into 4 even sections , starting from the base of the neck working your way up to the top
  • Application is simple start with 1⁄2 inch sections within the divided sections and Saturate each section with the Miami Sugar Smoothing Treatment and comb through from roots to end to remove excess treatment
  • Blow Dry the hair straight on medium heat . The hair doesn’t need to be pin straight
  • Sealing in Miami Sugar Smoothing Treatment with a flat Iron - Temperature needs to be 400-425 for fine to medium hair, 4-6 passes from base to end. Temperature needs to be 425-450 for Coarse or Resistant hair 7-8 passes
  • Miami Sugar Smoothing System can be left in the hair or washed out that is up the client
